BIOGRAPHY

Brian McConnell is 100% country boy, raised on Rock n Roll. Brian decided to pursue music in 1996 when he moved to Los Angeles where he had early success burning up the Sunset Strip in Hollywood. McConnell performed hundreds of sold out shows at “The Roxy Theatre”, “The Key Club”, “The Viper Room”, and the House of Blues on Hollywood’s famed Sunset Strip. 

McConnell was even invited to perform at The Playboy Mansion on many occasions. 

 

Brian was soon discovered by Doors guitarist, Robby Krieger who recorded guitars on Brian's rock anthem "Hollywood 911" in 2008.

In 1999 Brian met Van Halen Frontman David Lee Roth and soon became Dave's Executive Personal Assistant and Tour manager. Brian was instrumental in the reunion of Van Halen in 2007.


After 10 years touring with David Lee Roth and Van Halen, Brian cut ties.  In 2009 he moved to Nashville and began writing and recording his own music. Brian's EP "Love Letters" will be released in March 2021.


Lately, McConnell has been busy touring, playing 200+ shows a year where he has shared the stage with artists including Garth Brooks, Luke Combs, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen, Dustin Lynch, The Doors and many more.
